At Forrestall, Galeano & Li CPA LLC we charge for our services based upon time spent. Rather than create standard fees that may be much higher than the real cost of doing the work, or too low, we simply charge our clients based upon the time our staff take in preparing tax returns.
Business tax returns, in general, are much more complex than individual tax returns, therefore requiring additional time to ensure they are complete and accurate. many times, clients provide us with data that cannot be readily transferred to a tax return without us taking additional time to make necessary adjustments. When we are preparing a business tax return, we prefer to review each client's information prior to completing the work to give them an estimate of our costs and time involvement.
